About me!

As a busy mum of three, I know that ‘always moving’ is easier said than done. The early starts, the conflicting schedules, and the endless mountain of washing means that there’s often little time left for ourselves at the end of the day.

That’s why I’ll work with you to make new routines which can be tailored around your life.

I’m an experienced and passionate running coach with a degree in sport and PE and a level 3 diploma in personal training. I am a qualified and experienced secondary school PE teacher of 20+ years. I have decided to move away from teaching into the fitness industry but still have a passion for working with children and teens as well as adults.

Race history

I completed a few 10k’s, half-marathons and full marathons in my late teens and early twenties, but I didn’t really develop a passion for running, training and racing until I moved back to Devon after university. Living on the edge of Woodbury Common and being surrounded by country lanes gives me the ideal place to train - you will often find me ‘village hopping’ during my long run or running over Woodbury Common, enjoying the amazing views as I go!!

I’ve competed in a number of events in recent years, and some of my times are listed below.

Half marathon distance:

  • Bridgwater Half - 2022: 1.27.45

  • Tatton Half - 2023: 1:33.07

Marathon distance:

  • London Marathon - 2022: 3.07.40

  • Rhodes marathon - 2022: 3.23.20 (first female)

  • Crete marathon - 2023: 3.23.07 (third female)

Ultra-marathon distance:

  • Dartmoor Discovery- 2021: 4.37.47 (first female) 2022: 4.48.17 (third female)

  • Gloucester 24 hour ultra marathon - 2023: completing over 300 laps of a running track and clocking up 87 miles (second female)

I’ve also had the privilege of running for the England masters at both marathon and half marathon distances, and I have represented Devon in the national cross country championships.
